What to start thinking about for Glastonbury 2019.

Updated: May 8, 2019

This payment begins the start of hunting for those Glastonbury and Festival essentials. With the festival just NEXT MONTH, it is a great time to start thinking about these things.

With the walk from Glastonbury carpark, drop off points and coach stops being such a long walk to the actual campsite it is a great idea to make this as easy and comfortable as possible for you. Ideally you don’t want to have to return to your car for more.

We have comprised a list of those essential things to bring to Glastonbury 2019.

* Flask or water bottle

Glastonbury for 2019 have gone plastic free, you will not be able to buy or purchase single use plastic bottles across the site. This means for your festival you will need to bring in a water bottle to refill at a number of water filling points around the festival. To bring in your liquor you will also need a non-plastic bottle.

* Trolley

With the walk being such a stretch, we need the easiest possible way to carry bags, sleeping bag and drink. Garden Trolleys are the best things for this and easy to wheel about heavy loads. Amazon have a vast option for those who are unsure.

* Festival Tickets

No ID is required as photo is already on ticket. Will be exchanged on arrival for wristband.

* ID

ID is required for hospitality tickets, challenge 21, coach ticket leader and Sunday day tickets.

* Alcohol

Must not be glass. Cans are the best option and all liquor must be transferred into a bottle.

* Wellies

Wellies are good to buy this time of year. Buy them early and wear them in. There is nothing worse than uncomfortable shoes when wandering for miles each day.

* Portable Charger

Chargers can be expensive and you need one to last you 5 days so you can capture all those unmissable moments. Amazon have a large choice but usually the more expensive the more power.

* Day Bag

You will of course have your large camping bag but you will need a small compact bag to carry round throughout the day. Money, Card, ID and phone will need to fit so a fanny pack is ideal.

This is just a list of what to start thinking about now, a new list will be uploaded closer to the event.

See you all in June!
