Reading and Leeds 2019 - Who to check out.

With early birders arriving tomorrow for this year’s Reading and Leeds Festival, it is time to closely scrutinise 2019s lineup.

Headlining the Festival which began in 1961 is Indie-pop group The 1975, Twenty One Pilots, Post Malone and the legends that are The Foo Fighters.

Reading:

Friday: The 1975

Saturday: Post Malone, Twenty One Pilots

Sunday: Foo Fighters

Leeds:

Friday: Foo Fighters

Saturday: The 1975

Sunday: Post Malone, Twenty One Pilots

Weekend Tickets for Reading Festival have sold out, while there are limited availability of weekend tickets for Leeds Festival.

So, despite the well known headliners in the main stage who lower down the poster are worth visiting?

Billie Eilish will be making her debut at Reading and Leeds on the main stage, following her storm at this year’s Glastonbury Festival. The 17 year old was originally meant to play the Radio 1 stage but due to her ever increasing popularity she was moved up the bill. The American who is known for her no. 1 hit ‘Bad Guy’ is sure to be a set you won’t forget.

Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes is sure to be a crazy set. The Punk Rock band performed the year prior at Reading for a surprise secret set and has now made his way onto the main stage. Expect, crowd surfing, mosh pits and danger - if that doesn’t sell it to you I don’t know what does.

Mabel, who is taking the pop world by storm will also be playing Radio 1 stage as a special guest. The female singer who broke onto the scene with her single ‘Finders Keepers’ was a late special announcement. The tent will be full to the brim, so get the early!

And be sure to switch on the Notifications on the app and Offical Twitter account to be first to hear about this year’s secret set! Rumours are flying but Kasabian could be likely, and if that is true do not miss it! The duo have recently been uploading multiple photos of their previous years at the festival claiming it to be that time of year again.

Well, we’ll keep you up to date with Reading and Leeds over the weekend. Only 3 days till the music begins!
