Boardmasters 2019 has been cancelled.
The Cornwall event which was set to see early bird campers arrive today, posted late last the news of the cancellation.
The 5-day Newquay festival was set to host huge names with Foals, Florence & the Machines and Wu-Tang Clan being this year’s names at the top of the list.
Special guest Giggs, indie-pop band The Wombats and Brit winner Jorja Smith also were set to play this year.

The festival announced via social media the news at roughly 11 last night.
It follows recommendations from the emergency services and the met office following fears over adverse weather conditions.
This is understandable given the location of the festival on the seafront cliffs at Watergate Bay.
Winds are expected to be well above 50MPH alongside rain. It was not the August summer festival fans were hoping for.
The festival was first created in 1981, connecting in freedom and creativity of music and surfing. Something that takes place over the weekend on the beach.
Fans have been told they will soon be updated on their refund.
