Two Door Cinema Club have recently been promoting and getting us fans excited for a ‘U.K. Tour’ in October via social media.
However, it had a bit of an underwhelming response from some of us on Twitter.
The band who plugged the tour as a U.K. tour are only playing 6 shows.
Does 6 shows classify as a ‘U.K. Tour’?
The Northern Ireland band have correctly spread out these dates across the country making it easier for travelling fans.
The trio is playing
* Motor Point Arena Cardiff
* O2 Academy Glasgow
* O2 Victoria Warehouse Manchester
* Bonus Arena Hull
* The O2 Arena London
* Plymouth Pavilions.
These locations are great and largely spread out, but is 6 shows enough for those fans wanting to see them?
The Midlands have no gig happening near them so will likely have to travel a long distance likely mid week. For example those in Nottingham, would Nottingham Motorpoint Arena not have been a great venue?
The south coast of the country who are often ignored also will have to travel likely to London. The band could of added another date either at the BIC or Southampton Guildhall.
Though we were excited by this tour we cannot deny it was underwhelming.
