As Coachella begins today we remind ourselves what one of the biggest festivals has in store for us.
Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is world renown for its music, it’s summer vibes, the outfits and not forgetting the celebrities out and about.
The festival is 3 days long and situated in California (unsurprisingly). More specifically just east of Palm Springs in Indio.
Who is playing today then?
Childish Gambino, also known as Donald Glover is headlining the Coachella stage. This Is America singer performance begins at 11.25PM, following Monaé. YouTube are set to live stream his performance.
Monaé is another huge name on the Friday set list. The female singer takes the stage just before the headlining. She is best known for her Dirty Computer album. The singer will also be at Glastonbury this upcoming year.
The 1975 are also taking to the main stage. The Brit winners have grown and grown since their release of their 3rd studio album, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships. Matt Healy will play songs from all 3 albums and hopefully some new songs from their new album which is to be released in June this year.
DJ Snake and Diplo will bring the party to the main stage.
The French DJ, known as DJ Snake has made a name for himself internationally for a number of years now. He has worked in collaboration with huge names such as Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, French Montana and Major Lazer.
Diplo, known as Thomas Penz Jr will bring a fun and mental set to the stage this afternoon. We expect to hear big songs like Boom Boom, Close To Me and Electricity.
Other names on the lineup include BLACKPINK, Juice WRLD, Jaden Smith and much more.
