Saturday at Coachella was what we expected and more! The performances, the outfits and even baby shark at a DJ set!
Let’s recap on our favourite moments from Saturday at Coachella.
Someone we can not ignore was Billie Eilish. It is the 17 year olds first year at Coachella and we know it won’t be her last, a potential future headliner.
The singer song-writer played on the OUTDOOR theatre stage showing off her grunge Elmo music. The fans were loving it! Highlights of her set was bringing out performing ‘bury a friend’ on a floating bed and bringing out Zade despite his microphone not working!
We cannot ignore Saturday night headliners, Tame Impala. The set was largely familiar as they have not released a new album since 2015 including tracks Like ‘The Less I Know The Better’.
The Australian band showcased new songs ‘Patience’ and ‘Borderline’ in their hour and half set with with poppy music and great visuals.
Weezer played the Coachella stage, playing before the headliners. The band who have released a new album this year were not shy to make it a performance people are not going to forget. Chilli from TLC was brought on stage and played ‘No Scrubs’ with Weezer which was huge talk on twitter. He also brought out 1980s icons Tears For Fears and Performed ‘Everybody Wants To Rule The World’.
The Interrupters, Christine and the Queens and Bob Moses are all sets you should go watch if you have the time.
