Isle of Wight Festival adds new names to the list.

Isle of Wight festival has added more acts to its lineup, and we just cannot wait till summer.


Isle of Wight festival has its first poster released earlier this year with a ton of huge names playing.

Headliners include Nöel Gallaghers High Flying Birds, George Ezra and legends Biffy Clyro.


Thursday, though not an official day for music has added an act to play the evening, Wet Wet Wet. Scottish soft rock band are well know for their ‘angel eyes’ song.


Friday the main stage at the festival offers us an extremely great day for those indie fans with Nöel Gallagher headlining. Famous indie famous faces also include ‘Not nineteen forever’ singers Courteeners, Australian band DMA’s, ‘Sit Down’ singers James and Scottish legend Gerry Cinnamon. Lily Allen also features high up on the Friday list.

If your a big indie fan but do not wish to attend the festival, Friday day tickets are at a reasonable price of £60 plus fees.


The Big Top stage has finally revealed who is playing what day after much anticipation.

Friday sees Hacienda Classiçal headline the stage. Jax Jones, Sigla, Freya Ridings and Dean Lewis also will grace the stage with their appearance.


Saturdays main stage already had big names including Fat Boy Slim, Bastille and Anne-Marie alongside ‘Take On Me’ Rick Astley.

KT Tunstall and The Marcus King Band are new names to be added to Saturday.


Garbage are a new and huge announcement for The Big Top stage. It is American Rock band first time at Isle of Wight festival and they will be headlining this stage.

Playing alongside Garbage on the other stage is newly added Cage the Elephant who has new music ready to release for this year.

Sam Fender and Picture this also will play The Big Stop stage Saturday.


Saturday day tickets are priced at £65 plus fees.


Sunday main stage remains the same apart from one new addition, ABBA parody band Björn again.


The Big Top stage have announced their Sunday night headliner to be English Rock Band Keane. The Sussex born band is known for its hit singles ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ and ‘Everybody’s Changing’ and much more.


Mystery Jets and Idles though on the original poster have now been revealed to be playing on the Sunday.


Added to these names is new and upcoming singer songwriter Dermot Kennedy. Irish singer is known for his 2018 single ‘Power Over Me’ and his debut album is to be released this year. The Coral, Ward Thomas and Feet are also set to play this stage on the Sunday.


Sunday day tickets are also 65£ plus fees.


For those who have been intrigued by the whole weekend lineup can purchase tickets for a reasonable price of £175 plus just over £11 fees.

Disabled access tickets and camper van tickets are also able to be purchased.
