How to get Glastonbury tickets in resale!

How to best maximise your chance to get tickets in Glastonbury resale!

There is no denying how hard it is to get Glastonbury tickets, in general sale or resale but we’re here to help give you the best chance of attending worthy farm.

I have never been in the position of having to get tickets in resale yet and I am glad I have not. I have been 100% lucky every time during general sale.

However I do know people that have had the success during resale.

Resale has been announced on the Glastonbury official website. Returned coach tickets go on sale Thursday 25th of April while general sale is Sunday 28th of April.

Here are my top tips from someone who has always succeeded!

1) Do not give up until Glastonbury officially declare there is no more Tickets!

In general sale for 2019 I got my tickets in the last two minutes before it was sold out. I was still typing in my details when twitter declared it was sold out. You may be sat there for 10 minutes or 60 minutes but stay there until the final whistle as you never know.

2) Have all your details at the ready!

This may seem obvious but if and when you get through you have a time limit and do not want to be fumbling round looking for your registration number. Have it to hand alongside your card you’re going to pay deposit with. I recommend writing your personal digits in big font so as there’s no room for mistakes.

3) Use multiple devices!

Try and use as many devices to which can access the Glastonbury website as possible. This includes any phones, old phones, laptops, iPads etc. The more devices the more chances.

4) Do not use multiple tabs!

Only keep one tab open on each device when applying to tickets. It may seem a better idea to have multiple tabs, but it’s not. If you get through your device may get confused, buffer and then no tickets. Do not take the risk.

5) 3G v WiFi!

When having multiple tablets all trying to access the same website through your WiFi, it can slow down your WiFi and make it more unlikely to get tickets. Where possible on Phones and IPads try to use 3G so as not to put too much demand on the WiFi. It will be quicker! I have got mine on 3G for the past 2 attempts.

6) Locations!

As stated before, more people on multiple devices in one household slows the WiFi down. Where possible try a different location such as a friends house.

7) Try for both Coach & Ticket packages and general resale!

Glastonbury is giving you two opportunities to get your tickets, take advantage of both of them. Even if the coach is not the most ideal for you, it could be your chance to get into the greatest festival in the country.

8) Check all details are correct in advance!

This includes your address, full name, card details and your photo ID is up to date.

9) THE MOST IMPORTANT TIP: Do not refresh if you get through!

If you are lucky enough to get through and for some reason it buffers or does not load the next pages, DO NOT REFRESH. Refreshing will take you back to being in the queue. Fresh back, it’ll take you back to page before where your tickets will still be held. Try this multiple times.

I git through and it said no tickets were available, I pressed back space more times than I could count and it still kept repeating ‘no ticket’ but eventually all tickets loaded up.

10)

Stay calm!

Its a tough process, not everyone gets through. Stay calm and if you do get through, continue to stay calm as it’s not always as easy and that meaning you have succeeded.

Good luck! And I hope to see you in June.
