The Vaccines - Combat Sport Tour

We welcomed The Vaccines back early this year on their Combat Sports Tour round the UK, visiting 13 locations including the famous London Roundhouse twice due to high demand. Their Tour almost being a sell out.

The Indie-Rock band formed in 2010 and have since made 4 popular albums including the 2018 summer fun (as emphasised by the fake palm trees on stage) Combat Sports album. The new and touring album still holds the original 2011 debut ‘What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?’ Indie feel at its core, but with renewed music and strong guitar sounds. New 2015 keyboardist Tim Lanham and drummer Yoann Intonti helped bring the 2010 band into a new era of pop, punk and indie music.

Despite a new and energised album, The Vaccines on their tour stuck to what they knew, playing at least 5 of their 2011 Debut Album. Finishing their 3 song encore on All in White, a not neccesarily fast but no arguing, an iconic song. Post-Break up sex, Wreckin Bar and If You Wanna were all included in the set list.

The band played their new and catchy 'All My Friends Are Falling In Love', to which was first played at Community Festival summer of 2018. The Upbeat single makes us question what Vaccines have in store for us next, after being shown a new song "Lets Jump Off The Top" which has been played up and down the country on this tour.

Playing 8 songs from their new album, with fast pace NightClub being in their encore, we expect this album and tour from The Vaccines to be an opportunity for them to play old and new while still focusing on the Combat Sport essential part of the Tour.
