Knitting hats for newborns

Volunteers are knitting hats for babies after their local NHS Ward was in short supply.

Amy Burty, mum of two, wanted to thank the ward by knitting more hats.

Since creating a Facebook group encouraging local knitters to get involved, a team has knitted nearly 1000 hats.
