Coronavirus: New Forest cookbook connects generations

Writer's picture: Charlotte EdmondsCharlotte Edmonds

People in the New Forest have shared their favourite family recipes to help create a lockdown cookbook.

Creator Jonathan Oldfield was inspired by his great-grandmother's cookbook, which she compiled in World War Two.

He collected recipes from older people, including care home residents, and hopes to connect generations by sharing what it is like to cook in uncertain times.

The book is now on display at Spudworks art gallery in Sway and a digital copy will also be published.
