Army Major and cancer survivor breaks a Guinness World Record

Jacquie Barlow from Dibden Purlieu in Hampshire has completed her challenge to run 80 half marathons in 80 consecutive days, beating a Guinness World Record.

The Army Major and cancer survivor wanted to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, to thank them for their support while she had cancer.

She also raised money on behalf of her sister who has terminal cancer.

Jacquie herself was diagnosed with a large brain tumor 10 years ago that required immediate surgery.
