A Portrait of Care

Children in care often face discrimination because of their background, a recent study showed children In care report five times the level of bullying to other children.

A new online exhibition curated by Rosie Canning at the University of Southampton is tackling these negative connotations associated with being ‘in care’ through photos and stories from people with first-hand experience.

The exhibition took place on Instagram due to the coronavirus outbreak and coincides with National Care Leavers Week 2020.
